So far 2013 has been a difficult year for me… I lost my mum in January, got divorced, and moved to a new place. Lots of new (beautiful and good things too) are happening in my life.
But all these life changing things have lead me to a big decision: I’m closing my shop in Copenhagen after 8 good years. Time for something new!
Blog-vice it looks like you guys have to be continuously patient with me for a while. But I promise you that I’ll be back again when things gets settled.
A few month ago I would never had guessed that my life would be like this on my 30tiest birthday… it’s a grey and boring Monday, but if you can’t wear glitter on your own birthday I don’t know when.

Cold and quiet February days going on in the shop at the moment… sale is still on and there are treasures to be found. You really ought to stop by people :-)

I have been thinking about this a lot: How can I tell my blog-readers???
The thing is I have another life changing situation going on at the moment…
Anders and I are separating our ways and moving apart… Not to worry; we are still good friends and proud, very proud parents. But I guess we are just no longer the picture-perfect type of family. Looks like we are entering the modern-family category now :)
I’ve found myself a perfect little apartment. And from tomorrow and for a little while forward I will be busy painting, restoring and moving.
I know myself well enough to know that I will still find time to drop you a post once in a while. But now you know what’s going on… And this way it probably make more sense to you, why my blog posts have been less inspired lately…
Sleep tight and see you again soon.

Merry Christmas everyone… my good it went by fast… can’t believe its already over…
All this intense Christmas-work though the last few month has made everything in my private live very non-Christmassy…
Pictures are from a Christmas morning walk in our neighbourhood..

Nice and quiet morning at home, all alone… Charging my batteries for a Saturday night at the Tivoli shop.
Look at this funny picture; it is from when I was in kindergarten, hihihi. Front row, messy hair and scratching my ear, that’s me… My brother is in the top left corner; red blouse, brown vest.
Have a great Saturday all around the world!

1: Vilja and I on our way out in Matching hats!
2: Outside the shop. Christmas sneaking in…
3: Preparations in the workshop.
1: breakfast. Greek yoghurt with honey and oatmeal+coffee. 2: Vilja jumping puddles outside the shop. 3: Things in the shop: deco-paper, silver flowers for decoration, Japanese books and postcards. 4: Shop; Oilcloth, storage boxes, paper goods and so on. 5:Risotto with scrimps and mushrooms.
Happy Thursday everyone and thank you for ‘being there’ -b
My sister and I went to a reception yesterday. An old friend of ours is the editor of a beautiful new magazine about the 50ties. By reading this you can learn about how to host the perfect party, style your hair or sew a dress -everything the 50ties way, of course!
The reception was held at an old glove-shop in Copenhagen called ‘Randers Handsker’ and this event was ALL 50ties. Drinks, dresses, invitation and surroundings…. look at that amazing snack-display!!! (recipe in the magazine)
I would love for all of you to read this. But it’s in Danish so I guess that leaves out quite a bunch huh?…
It is available to buy here! and in a little while it will be available in my shop too.
Okay… wrap out a billion boxes. Tidy up the overloaded stockroom. Red lipstick on, and I’m off for a girls night out with my sister. Couldn’t wish for a better agenda.
Have a happy Friday all.
