It is freeeeezing cold today. This was how the it looked outside my window 5 minutes before closing hour.
Urgh cold cold bike ride… I’m home now -and warm.

I have been wearing shorts a lot lately. They kind of make me look like a little boy, but I don’t find that too bad.
They are thick, woollen and high waisted (and from my shop)

Anders and I are bike people -we don’t own a car (I don’t even own a drivers licence) but when we need a car for business or we fell the urge to go on a road trip; we rent one.
Our recent German adventures were by car. We arrived home yesterday and have been gone for a week. Tomorrow I will show you some more vacation pics.

Spring is all over Copenhagen and after a long and cold winter the “copenhegeners” are enjoying the wonderful harbour area (Islands Brygge) where my shop is located. A sweet neighbour to the shop took these photos from her balcony, what a view. The blooming cherrytrees tells me that the warm weather is here for a long time.

Energy is low around here. After I was sick last week Anders got sick and now Vilja is sick too. We’re really not the kind of people that get sick very often, but I guess with a kid in daycare that suddenly changes.
I hope hope hope she will get well soon. I’m running so much behind with everything and I’m really looking forward to get back to business. I do have an empty workspace just waiting to be decorated.

Winter has been going on for a long time now and every time I believe that spring is coming -it starts to snow. The heat in our apartment broke during the night and I am trying to get some work done, wrapped in a big blanket with a cup of tea in my hand. It is ok though, I really like when the daily routine get a little bit messed up.
Wont be long until my new (yep -third try) webshop is ready to be launched. This time in English and now I will finally be able to ship worldwide, Yay!

I was asked by someone to do a portrait of our little family a while ago.
Anders and I are blurry because a second before ‘click’ we threw ourself into the picture… I have some unblurry ones too, but I didn’t want to take the magic out of the ‘real’ portrait by posting it on the blog before I gave it away.
It’s not difficult for the camera to get Vilja’s attention. When the self-timer is on a tiny light is blinking and she is FASCINATED by things that lights. I’m starting to suspect she could be an excellent electrician some day.

Look what the mail-man brought me a few days ago.
I don’t know what I liked the most, the delicate hand stitched moustache-brooch or the the wrapping with beautiful handwriting, drawings and detail after detail.

So far this has been a fantastic weekend. I have spend time in the shop (without baby). I have baked a cake. I have been vintage-dress shopping. I have mailed web-shop orders. And today we have had Babysitters for several hours and a lovely lunch in town.
