Remember the miniature-battlefield I bought on a flea marked back in spring. Vilja and I are transforming the war-zone into a Winter wonderland. Trying to cope with the horrors of what is going on in the world maybe… Vilja just loves the special mom/daughter time. So do I.
We have been wonderfully busy this easter. Michael in the coffee-shop, a happy (hired) helper in the ice cream truck and me with the kids+meals. Things are good. We are tired and happy.
This is a peek at some of the things that went down in 2014. I wish you all the very best for 2015!!!
Our tivoli shop is open until midnight today. The kids and I are not big fans of fireworks so we are having our own little party at home waiting patiently for Michael to come home and give us a big new year hug.
We did make it in time. First day of Christmas-tivoli was Friday. Always lots of little adjustments with the finish during the first week or two. but we are happy with the result so far and (luckily) very busy people.
I’m newer gonna grow to old for miniatures.
Living far away from the big city makes flea-marked-visits much more fun. The other day we drove by a flea marked in the middle of nothing. Somebody bought an old manor and they didn’t know what to do about all the dusty old things inside… Michael and I bought a bunch of old toys, some posters and some furnitures.
This is a reconstruction of ‘The Battle og Waterloo‘ (we think) …not that I needed one of those. But hey… :)
Any miniature-enthusiasts out there?
Vilja has her own house and Kornelius has a car now. Privileged kids huh?
The weather has changed radically. Seems like summer is long gone already. When we woke up this morning it was all grey and cloudy so we decided to keep the ice cream shop closed for a day and get some painting done on the outside of the house. But then it started raining and we decided to make hot cocoa instead. Rain and storm continued and we went to a flea marked.
Kornelius got a ‘new’ car that lucky boy. It lacks a headlight in front. any ideas?
Kornelius is afraid of NOTHING. And he is faster than the speed of sound… I wonder how things will be when he starts walking….
Alex is a coffee-expert! He was here yesterday helping out with our new machine. It’s up and running now. Next step is the soft-ice machine and hopefully our shop will be open on Friday.
I will get back to your comments as soon as I have time :) thank you! -b
