The first floor of the beach house still looks like this. At the moment we sleep in a room that will someday become part of a kitchen.
How are you out there. Away on vacation? …so quiet….
I love the old wallpaper! I can’t imagine that you are getting much done on the inside when you are so busy on the outside ;)
No holidays… just busy with the boys at home :P
Have a good rest of the week xox
No no only outside work at the moment :) The house have to wait until end of the season. Say hi to the boys from me. -b
Thanks! Hello to your boys and girl as well :) Lots of good weather wishes to you!
The hearts wallpaper is so pretty! Were moving in 3 weeks (me, husband, son and daughter) still lots of packing to do, but i’m so excited. Were moving to another city in the Netherlands and i can’t wait! So many nice shops and little restaurants to discover :)
School holidays haven’t yet started here in England but we’re enjoying some beautiful weather. xxx
I’m here, following you! Already since you were pregnant of Vilja. Part of my routine to check your blog, always an inspirational and cheerful moment in my day. Would LOVE to come over for a coffee in your ice cream/coffee lounge area but the Netherlands are a bit too far ;-)
Because you asked for a reaction.Almost every day I take a look into your life/site and enjoy it tremendously. I hope you will go on like that for a long time and that one day I can see it for myself. Next week we go on vacation; hiking in the Pyrenees Thank you so far for the wunderful pictures Txxx
Nyder skam dine billeder hver dag! ;-)MEGET inspirerende!!!
I love your blog. I very rarely comment, but I look out for a new post every day and always enjoy that little glimpse into your busy life with family, ice cream and building a home. My husband is danish and many years ago we lived in Copenhagen. Thank you for binging a little bit of Denmark into my home…
Há that’s funny, you’re the busy bee, B.
We’re here ;o)
Nice to see your posts, and the balance you find between busy & the relaxed coastal living.
That’s some typical woodwork under your roof…
Mike has his work cut out for him.
HI Brinja, still here! But working hard, just like you. Wish there was a possiility for a holiday to Denmark soon. Maybe next year! Keep up the good work (and pleassse keep on posting about it! <3)
I can’t wait to see what you will turn the first floor into!
Hi Brinja! This is the first time I comment. I love your blog and I’ve been reading it since…hmm…can’t even remember. Reading your blog is part of my daily routines. I even look at the older posts again and again. :) Last autumn was very exciting, because your due date of Kornelius was so close to mine. My sweet little girl was born in 3rd of November, very close to Kornelius’ birthday, isn’t it?
My dream for this summer holiday was to visit your coffee/ice cream shop, but it’s a bit too far away from Finland. Even though my husband asked me “why couldn’t we go there if you want?? We could drive there by car.” It would be so nice, but thinking of our three kids (5 and 3 year old boys and 8 months old girl) at the back seat…I think we don’t even try! :D :D But thank you for all the lovely pictures of your beautiful summer café!! <3 I wish you have a great summer!
Hi Brinja
A wee summer(or whatever this is today) greeting in the hope of cheering you up…melancholia is also a sign that shows that one has lived, so not bad at all…. I also follow your blog…. I come from Spain and have lived in Dk for 8 years….I first moved to Islands Brygge, later to Amagerbrogade, now in Struer… and hopefully will come back to Kbh, which I miss… at that time you had your boutique, and I used to pass by on my way to the center, and the language school..later I discovered your blog…and here I am , 8 years later :) …kram til dig, see u maybe IRL :)
Hilsen fra Kbh
[…] already we look forward to work on new ideas for next season. Also we look forward to start working on the house again […]
[…] have told you earlier we still have quite a way to go with our house construction. The first floor still looks like this and we still sleep like one big circus family in the living […]
