Phew…

Christmas days in our home has been truly wonderful but not quite as quiet and relaxed as I had hoped for. Many unfortunate bumps on the way like; a winter flu, a computer breakdown, unexpected shifts in the shop, oh and a dishwasher breakdown including a mild flood in our kitchen.

Things don’t always work out the way you want them to huh?

Anyway, we had a perfect Christmas ewe party, Vilja is just happy happy happy and we still have a visit to my parents place at Samsø to come, YAY.

In my case it was the same. My unfortunate blows were:
    -a broken computer
-death of one of my fish through suicide (he jumped from the tank to the ground)
    -flu

Things like that always happen at the same time! But the important things do not break down ;)

Hope your doing better by now! I got the flu & an ear infection just before Christmas, too, as well as a computer breakdown, so I truly feel your pain… We had a great Christmas at home, though, so never mind the minuses!

Omend det lyder lidt kaotisk, ser det virkelig hyggeligt ud! – Jeg kan ikke lade vær at være lidt misundelig over, at Vilja har en jævnaldrende kusine – det må være SÅ hyggeligt og dejligt for jer alle.

It looks like Christmas turned out so nice anyway! I fell and had a concussion right after our Thanksgiving (a few weeks before Christmas,) so only had about one week to get ready. The first Christmas had a few glitches, too, so what can you do? ;-)

Thank you Brinja, your blog has been great to cheer me up! I am still dizzy, unsteady and a bit forgetful. I was standing on a narrow bench, then stepped backwards and lost my footing and hit the back of my head on the wooden porch wall. A happy 2010 to you, too! (just kidding, I know what year it is, 2011, right??? ;-))
