SUMMER DAYS

I have never been more busy! Summer in Denmark this year beautiful and sunny. Couldn’t have wished for better conditions to open our ice cream shop.

We have a good staff helping out. but still Michael and I have to run fast… and so we do :)  the kids just tag along, Kornelius is crawling around like a tiny tornado and Vilja has great fun making new friends among our local costumers. She was once very shy. but that seems to be in the past.

I LOVE what you did with the circus vans, the shop looks amazing. How’s the bureaucracy behind opening a business like this, do you have strict health inspection? I was just telling my husband how wonderful I think your idea is but he was realistic and said it would take years in our country to get the papers for anything like this.

Anyway, it seems the summer has moved up north this year, we have shitty weather all the time, rain and cold :-( Enjoy the sunny days and I wish you lots of success, you deserve it!

It was very difficult to get all the permissions and paperwork to go though. Took us a long time and a lot of reading, writing and talking. (longer than it took us to build the whole circus) :) Where in the world are you?

    Hei there,
we visited Circus Is two weeks ago and it is amazing what you did with this place (I remember the street from our first visit in Stillinge Strand last year)! And I´ve never seen that place and beach so busy – are Danish summer holidays in July?
I didn´t say Hei! in person because, well – you seemed to be very busy and I remembered that you once wrote about your shop that you´re not always entirely comfortable having smalltalk with customers… didn´t want to bring you in an awkward situation. But your daughter is very very cute and not shy at all: she even offered our 2 year old bits of her ice cream! My husband took a pic, maybe I´ll mail it to you?!
Hope that geourgeous weather still goes on!

What a yummy pleasure ! Your ice cream make me dream. Someday I hope to visit your shop: I will have a bird broach (not sure about the color) and a big tasty ice cream ! You and Michael have created a lovely warm and cordial place.

Your shop looks wonderfull! It must be nice to see that Vilja changed so much. Children easily adapt; they change so fast. It’s one of the nicest things to be part of.
