Christmas days in our home has been truly wonderful but not quite as quiet and relaxed as I had hoped for. Many unfortunate bumps on the way like; a winter flu, a computer breakdown, unexpected shifts in the shop, oh and a dishwasher breakdown including a mild flood in our kitchen.
Things don’t always work out the way you want them to huh?
Anyway, we had a perfect Christmas ewe party, Vilja is just happy happy happy and we still have a visit to my parents place at Samsø to come, YAY.
My brother has made it a tradition to invite his friends over for an old fashioned Christmas dinner.
This was last night at my his and Leas place.
My sister Sigga took the picture of Anders and I. We don’t have to many of those lying around.
Anders made a pie yesterday. Broccoli, salmon, asparaguses and garlic. Uhm!
Vilja is at her grandparents and Anders and I are adjusting to the rare quietness of being home with no plans and no Vilja around. Next up; a Woody Allan movie!
There are some pictures from our home in a Swedish magazine this month. They are not recent -as you can see, no sign of Vilja yet. Hope you like it.
A few pics from my day at the workshop. Have a great weekend everyone!
This is pictures from a weekend getaway we had with uncle Niller and aunt Lea recently.
We weren’t that far away from home (1 hour by train and 1 hour by bike) -but to us it was somewhere new.
Very soon vacation time for our little family will come to an end and the real world will take over. I’m looking forward to get back to work and to (also) show you some more work, shop and workshop related photos soon.
Anders and I are bike people -we don’t own a car (I don’t even own a drivers licence) but when we need a car for business or we fell the urge to go on a road trip; we rent one.
Our recent German adventures were by car. We arrived home yesterday and have been gone for a week. Tomorrow I will show you some more vacation pics.
Anders vacation has begun which means we can have long breakfasts together much more often -YAY!
Oh and the first day of sale has been a great success -again YAY!!!
By the way; any Hamburg or Harzen travel tips?
1. Anders in holiday mode
2. yesterdays dinner: potato salad and skewers.
3. Flowers from the garden.
We are having a quiet weekend at my parents house on Samsø. I am trying to get a break from work -but couldn’t help but bring just a small project for the shop (necklace pic 2).
