Christmas days in our home has been truly wonderful but not quite as quiet and relaxed as I had hoped for. Many unfortunate bumps on the way like; a winter flu, a computer breakdown, unexpected shifts in the shop, oh and a dishwasher breakdown including a mild flood in our kitchen.
Things don’t always work out the way you want them to huh?
Anyway, we had a perfect Christmas ewe party, Vilja is just happy happy happy and we still have a visit to my parents place at Samsø to come, YAY.
We have had some busy days here… Vilja has been ill and Christmas is all over the the shop.
We have some wonderful things to come, Christmas eve in our home with the family and a trip to samsø. I am looking forward to feel like a kid!
Just a few pictures to get you into the Christmas spirit. Vilja and I went tree shopping today. We spend the whole evening decorating, singing and dancing.
Christmas is sneaking up and we have been very busy working and preparing the shop. Today we spend some great and much needed family time in the tivoli gardens.
Anders made a pie yesterday. Broccoli, salmon, asparaguses and garlic. Uhm!
My wonderful big sister owns two very cool fashion shops in Copenhagen and she has recently started a new blog.
This upcoming weekend the shops turn 18years, which will be celebrated with 18% discount on all items. You can find opening hours and addresses on her blog.
…and a really colourful meal. Mashed potatoes, parmesan cheese, corn, peas and shrimps.
April right, Vilja left.
…a visit to the zoo, lots of book reading, radio listening, colourful snacks and reorganising the wardrobe.
My brother took me to a Lautrec exhibit yesterday that made my heart beat faster.
And he brought me home made cinnamon cakes (which is my all time favourite kind of cake) isn’t it marvellous?
Ps: yes; what a foggy foggy day!
At aunt Sigga, uncle Mikkel and Cousin Aprils place.
Oh and just to stay in the wedding-mode for a little bit longer; Anders and I have been married for 4 years today!!!
Tomatoes, red lenses, onion, cinnamon, garlic and umm… well, you can find the recipe (in Danish) here! -it was yummy.
I was sceptical about the cinnamon part at first, but it turned out to be just the right thing!
Very soon vacation time for our little family will come to an end and the real world will take over. I’m looking forward to get back to work and to (also) show you some more work, shop and workshop related photos soon.
