Miniature pillow

Sorry about the sudden overload of miniature post. I can’t seem to stop thinking about mini-things now… what, how and when to make some more…

This pillow what was I did a few days ago. It is so silly; I have a thousand things on my to-do list and I end up spending 3-4 hours on a miniature pillow…

For the first time…

…in a VERY long time, I have done something new for my miniature home. I will show you soon.

Swedish magazine

There are some pictures from our home in a Swedish magazine this month. They are not recent -as you can see, no sign of Vilja yet. Hope you like it.

A new home

I have been collecting all the ‘leftovers’ from my minihome since I started creating it three years ago. Every time furnitures are replaced in my real home, they have to leave the minihome too. It has been adding up to quite a few homeless miniature-things.

When we were visiting my parents at Samsø recently I found an old doll house at a flea marked. It’s now in our bookshelf homing all the necklaced furnitures I had lying around.

Really it’s a great thing that I have a baby girl you know; it takes the edge of the grown-up-woman-playing-with-toys-wackiness I have going on here…

Hi everyone :)

Rather special

The picture for this article was taken a long time ago… remember?

It as a series about women with special hobbies… like building your own home in miniature…

Tuesday

My gosh I have great blog-readers. Makes me so happy to read through your sweet comments. Thanks for all your well wishes.Vilja feels much better now but she is still tired and a bit cranky.

I’m happy to inform you that Gitte won the competition -all because of you -I’m sure! Isn’t that great?

One of those days…

Today is one of those days where I would much rather crawl into my mini world…

I’m needed there too -the mini living-room definitely has to become more baby friendly don’t you agree?

Your comments make me smile. Thank you!

Making a mini-miniature for the doll house and looking forward to a night out. Have a great Saturday all. -b

Home home mini-home

My mini-home was photographed yesterday. You have to wait in patience to see what for…

Mini chest

Anders late grandfather painted this chest many years ago. I made a miniature of it a little while ago.

I’d wish he was here to see it.

Lovely lovely Sunday

Anders has been away from home for a few days and Vilja has not been sleeping much, -neither have I. But today my in laws came by with dinner and took over for a while. I had a nap a meal and a break and Vilja had a shower and lots of fun. Now she is sleeping like an angel and I have had an evening with time to take a look at the good old minihome. Lucky me. Lovely lovely Sunday.

Cardboard furniture

Many of the furnitures in my mini-home are made of cardboard -old shoe boxes and stuff like that. Here are some of them under construction.

‘Me time’

Had a few hours of ‘me-time’ today. I spend it with coffee and miniature stuff.

Sofa is all done. New sofa table nearly done. Computer and television in progress… Next job: diaper changing station.

Miniature update

Right now the mini-home is a mess, but I am working on the sofa and it’s coming out pretty well. Only needs legs.

The wall

I don’t think I ever showed you this wall in our dining room? -I made the miniature version a few days before Vilja was born.

Mini

First thing in the mini-home that needs replacement is the sofa. When I was pregnant I became aware of how bad it was to sit in. For a few weeks we pushed it aside and placed a big mattress on the floor. Then the day before Vilja was born we bought a new much bigger and softer couch that I practically live in it these days. Sadly this mini-leather-version gotta go.
