Christmas is sneaking up and we have been very busy working and preparing the shop. Today we spend some great and much needed family time in the tivoli gardens.
It’s really getting dark outside. This was how it looked outside the shop at 5:30PM yesterday.
My brother took me to a Lautrec exhibit yesterday that made my heart beat faster.
And he brought me home made cinnamon cakes (which is my all time favourite kind of cake) isn’t it marvellous?
Ps: yes; what a foggy foggy day!
They are building a metro station close to where I live. To make room for it, an old (114years!) tree had to be torn down. But because people in my neighborhood was so furious about losing this beautiful old tree, there were guards and fences around it 24-7 for over a week.
The tree went down last week though…
My sweet sweet childhood friend Simone got married yesterday! (in a dress from my shop :-)
From my parents garden: tomatoes, beetroot, parsley, thyme, salvia, squash, tarragon and 12 freshly laid eggs.
From the local dairy : cheese and cream.
And fanallly: two beautiful hand knitted (by ‘Granny O’) wool jackets, a green dress and a vest for Vilja and cousin April.
I should really go to Samsø more often don’t you think?
Green shirt and wrangler jeans from ‘Rude’, second hand belt, Bird necklace (gift from Anders).
If you are wondering about the uneven frequency of posts on my blog lately, it is because we are in and out of the city, having small holiday visits around Denmark. This time we have been visiting Bornholm were Anders dad is from.
1. Dinner at a side walk café. 2. Blue sky and green trees (One really should spend more time lying on grass staring into the sky) 3. Playground fun.
1:Breakfast with Anders at his first day of vacation. 2: Forest friends (diy paper fun) and dog pencil cases from the shop. 3: Home made pizza with rocket salad and chorizo. 4: At the playground with cousin April and aunt Sigga (April wearing jeans)
I did a bunch of boring paperwork this morning and then Vilja and I went out for sun, coffee and fun.
All rested out and ready for a new week to begin. The sun is shining in Copenhagen and the summer feeling is just perfect.
We are invited for a birthday dinner with Viljas second set of grandparents today (Anders dads birthday) lucky us!
See you soon…
Are things better now? I have tried to re-do some of my css. But I still don’t really know what the problem was/is…
I hope you are having a fantastic weekend all around the world!!! -aren’t blogland just the greatest?
