I have had a good but looong and exhausting day at the shop… going to bed now.
Ps: Look here!
Sweet Pernille is in our local newspaper this week. She is recommending this cotton/silk scarf from the shop as a Christmas present.
For a Christmas marked tomorrow. Come by and say hello if you are in the neighbourhood!
The shop is open from 10-16.
I was happily surprised to find this sorry-note plus a jacket that had disappeared from my shop yesterday (“undskyld” means sorry in Danish). It was neatly placed on the doorknob of my shop this morning. I keep saying that I have the best costumers in town, apparently I have the best shoplifters too!
Don’t you just love how little things like this can make everyday life seem much more interesting?
By the way under the note is a present I received today, more about that later.
One of my absolute favourite things is my job, even though Anders always tells me not to bring work home, and I try not to (I have a problem, I just cant stop) it sometimes happens anyway. Last weekend a bunch of new Brinja dresses arrived which meant a whole lot of organising.
Combined with a brilliant red wine and some cheese/sausage/olive-snacks, it was a perfect way to spend a Saturday night!
Ps: The dresses are for this winter and in my humble opinion they are pretty darn good. I’ll get back to you on that!
Helen from Australia sent me this very small house!!!
It made me so very happy on a grey and rainy day – that someone so far away thought of me and took the time and effort to post me a little gift. Thank you Helen!
As I was hanging up some shelves at the shop today the postman dropped by with a very special something from someone living on the opposite side of the earth. Something thoughtful and wonderful!!! tomorrow I will show you what is was…and then the day after tomorrow I will show you the very exciting mini thing I made for my minihome… unless something more thrilling happens in between of course…
Sleep tight. b
It wasn’t my shift at the shop yesterday, but I stopped by for a quick hello… Anders often laughs at the fact that I have no control over time when I am there… two hours easily feels like two minutes for me.
My wonderful big sister owns two very cool fashion shops in Copenhagen and she has recently started a new blog.
This upcoming weekend the shops turn 18years, which will be celebrated with 18% discount on all items. You can find opening hours and addresses on her blog.
I am so happy with how many of you joined the facebook page. Thank you all very very much for your loyal support!
It will be in Danish for the most of it I think, but I guess it will be mostly pictures anyway. Really hope you won’t feel left out because of the language…
I have been wearing shorts a lot lately. They kind of make me look like a little boy, but I don’t find that too bad.
They are thick, woollen and high waisted (and from my shop)
Ps: There’s a new ‘Brinja København’ facebook page in action. You can join it by a click in the ‘I like’ box to the right.
It’s really getting dark outside. This was how it looked outside the shop at 5:30PM yesterday.
Another Christmas sneak peak… star toppers like this one (same star, two sides) will be in the shop by December.
