Vacation=WAY to short! We are back home.
I have tons of work the following days. Better get some sleep.
Sorry about neglecting your comments lately. I look forward to attend to them soon.
From my parents garden: tomatoes, beetroot, parsley, thyme, salvia, squash, tarragon and 12 freshly laid eggs.
From the local dairy : cheese and cream.
And fanallly: two beautiful hand knitted (by ‘Granny O’) wool jackets, a green dress and a vest for Vilja and cousin April.
I should really go to Samsø more often don’t you think?
This is pictures from a weekend getaway we had with uncle Niller and aunt Lea recently.
We weren’t that far away from home (1 hour by train and 1 hour by bike) -but to us it was somewhere new.
Green shirt and wrangler jeans from ‘Rude’, second hand belt, Bird necklace (gift from Anders).
If you are wondering about the uneven frequency of posts on my blog lately, it is because we are in and out of the city, having small holiday visits around Denmark. This time we have been visiting Bornholm were Anders dad is from.
Vilja is so good at making new friends. She met this little girl at a restaurant in the Hartz and she just ran towards her, gave her a BIG hug and then they played for one and a half hour straight -that’s the way to do it!!!
Anders and I are bike people -we don’t own a car (I don’t even own a drivers licence) but when we need a car for business or we fell the urge to go on a road trip; we rent one.
Our recent German adventures were by car. We arrived home yesterday and have been gone for a week. Tomorrow I will show you some more vacation pics.
1. Dinner at a side walk café. 2. Blue sky and green trees (One really should spend more time lying on grass staring into the sky) 3. Playground fun.
I have been to Hamburg before but it was even more great this time around. With all your ideas and tips to follow our three days visit was not nearly enough. Pictures from ‘Herr Max‘.
Vilja and I have set up camp in great grandmas living room. She lives a few hours outside the city and we are on a mini vacation!
All rested out and ready for a new week to begin. The sun is shining in Copenhagen and the summer feeling is just perfect.
We are invited for a birthday dinner with Viljas second set of grandparents today (Anders dads birthday) lucky us!
See you soon…
1. Anders in holiday mode
2. yesterdays dinner: potato salad and skewers.
3. Flowers from the garden.
We are having a quiet weekend at my parents house on Samsø. I am trying to get a break from work -but couldn’t help but bring just a small project for the shop (necklace pic 2).
Thank you very much for all your Hi´s and Hello´s I am so happy to have you stopping by. And it was very nice to ´meet´you all!
Our little family are having an Easter-mini-vacation at my parents place on ´Samsø´.
